Vs a normal SIM
Keep your home SIM. Add a second profile and set it to data-only. WhatsApp/Telegram use data; classic calls to your home number do not go through this eSIM.
eSIM
Pick a country and a GB/days pack, pay in Telegram, then scan the QR in phone settings. No plastic SIM. This is not a VPN and not a replacement for your home number.
What the country in the list means
Where it works. Data works when you are physically in that country (or in the Europe regional zone). Cellular coverage, like a local SIM.
Not a VPN IP. Not a VPN and not “whose IP” like a RushVPN server. The list is not an exit node. The IP belongs to the local operator; you cannot switch it like a VPN location.
Selected pack: Thailand. Data works where that plan has radio coverage. Sites and banks may see the local operator IP — not a Russian IP and not our VPN servers.
Coverage country
In short
eSIM is a SIM baked into the phone, installed with a QR instead of plastic. The travel eSIM here is data-only for the days in the pack.
Keep your home SIM. Add a second profile and set it to data-only. WhatsApp/Telegram use data; classic calls to your home number do not go through this eSIM.
Not a VPN key, not a TikTok/Instagram bypass, not a number for bank SMS. For blocked networks use RushVPN separately.
“Thailand” means the radio works in Thailand on a local operator. The IP is usually that operator’s Thai address, not a RushVPN server. To look German or bypass blocks, buy VPN — not this eSIM.
Before the flight, on Wi‑Fi. QR arrives in Telegram after payment. Install takes 2–5 minutes. If the pack starts on install/first attach, wait until you land so you do not burn days early.
Confirm “Add eSIM” on the device first. Then pay — the QR is one-shot; do not share it.
FAQ
Do not expect calls, SMS, or a VPN inside the QR.
No if the name lists gigabytes. Supplier “Unlimited” almost always means full speed until a cap, then a throttle. Read the plan title.
